NHS Free Health Check Available

Book your free NHS health check if you are between the ages of 40 -74yrs old and have not had a check in the last 5 years. Telephone surgery to book your appointment and get your health MOT done. Please note these checks are not suitable for those patients that already have preexisting conditions like diabetes, COPD, heart disease, hypertension etc

Repeat Prescriptions

Patients on regular repeated medication are requested to hand in or post their prescription requests well in advance of their medication running out.

Alternatively you can order your repeat prescriptions online via the link at the top of this page. Please note you must register with the surgery before using this facility for the first time. (For more information click here.)

If you wish to have your prescription posted to you, please enclose a stamped addressed envelope.

Prescription requests will not be taken over the telephone as serious mistakes can occur.

We require two complete working days to process your prescription request.

Regular medication can be issued for up to six months; the chemist will then dispense the medication at two monthly intervals. This is known as 'Batch Prescribing'. Please enquire whether this may be suitable for your regular medication.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.

Please allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
